It's February, the month of love (or at least the month with a sappy love holiday in it) and we are celebrating with Crush Confessions. I've asked some awesome bloggers and writers to come up with a list of the boys (and girls) that make them swoon. From vampires to werewolves, jocks to Brits - we have something for everyone! So sit back, relax, and get ready to swoon.
Today's Crush Confessions comes from Tammy Blackwell, author of the Timber Wolves series. Tammy and I have never met but I follow her on Twitter and Facebook and know that she is seriously one funny lady. I know Tammy and I would be friends in real life because she picked a Crush Confession topic that I can totally get behind - 90s hearthrobs. Let's see who Tammy picked.
The 90s were a magical time filled with flannel, grunge
music, and the dreamiest of teen heartthrobs.
Huh? What’s that people not of the Catalano Generation who
don’t agree with me? Sorry. I can’t hear you over all this awesome 30 Seconds
to Mars music.
Jared Leto, 90s teen heartthrob, millennial rocker, 2014 Golden Globe
winner, and Miss Tammy’s secret boyfriend.
Not enough to convince you? What if I told you our hottest
hotties were all in movies based on literature?
That’s right. We didn’t fall for just any pretty boy in a pair of Doc Martens;
we wanted boys with substance. Need proof? Talk a long, loving gaze at these
babes…

(Okay, so Mr. Depp is technically a 80s heartthrob thanks to
21 Jump Street, but the flannel shirt
generation gets to lay some claim on him since most of his big roles, like
Edward Scissorhands, didn’t happen until the 90s.)
And there you have it. Undisputable proof that boys from the 90s were just dreamier… and more literary. Dare to disagree? Leave me some proof in the comments!
