Hi, guys! Is everyone having a good weekend? So far my weekend has been a whirlwind. I made a somewhat last minute decision to go down to San Diego on Saturday to Mysterious Galaxy for the Ilona Andrews signing. I live in LA so San Diego is a good 2-3 hour drive each way, depending on traffic. I really didn't want to drive that far for a one day thing but I also really wanted to see Ilona Andrews. So I made the executive decision to go down there and my friend and I left pretty early on Sat to miss the traffic. I will recap the whole event next week but we had a great time and it was totally worth it.

So this week's book mostly come from the Summer of YA event that happened at B&N Glendale last weekend. I recapped that event here. On to the books!

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell (signed) - You may remember that I tried to get a copy of this book at Comic-Con but they sold out. I had my friend go to Book Soup where Rainbow had signed the week before and and picked up a signed copy for me. Yay!

Belle Epoque by Elizabeth Ross (signed) - I have heard good things about this historical YA novel by Elizabeth Ross. She was at the Summer of YA event and was just too cute and I could not resist picking it up. Also, gorgeous cover.

Boy Nobody by Allen Zadoff (signed) - I am a big fan of Allen's and have been wanting to read his new book. It's about a boy teen assassin, which sounds pretty awesome.

Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay (signed) - This sounds like it's going to be a sci-fi version of Beauty and the Beast. I love re-tellings and am excited to see how this one is.

That's my book haul for this week. What's new in your library?
