Stacked (19)

Hello, friends! I am mocking up this week's installment of Stacked pretty early in the week. It's another holiday weekend here where I am so I am taking a quick trip up to see my parents and my adorable niece. I hate the long drive but it's worth it to be able to see everyone.

I am still on a bit of a book ban but I did go to the library this week. Got a few things for the road trip as well as a book I've really been wanting to read. Also snagged a couple of NetGalley books. Again, trying to be good and read the books I have. I am being realistic on this trip, too, and am only bringing two physical books with me and my Kindle. I hope to get some reading time in, but we'll see. Now, onto the books!

Sweet Talk by Julie Garwood - I'd only read Garwood's Historical romance novels but this one jumped out at the new release wall at the library. I've already finished it and it was very fun.

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman - This was a total score at the library. I have been wanting to read this one and was so happy to find out that my branch finally got a copy.

Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel - I have this book on my Kindle already but I thought I might try it on audio.

Blink & Caution by Tim Wynne-Jones - I like thriller type books in audio and this one has an eerie cover.

Season for Surrender by Theresa Romain - This Historical caught my eye on NetGalley this week. I am a fan of the proper young lady and rake scenario and it looks like it could be fun.

The Angel by Tiffany Reisz - I actually haven't read the first book in this series, The Siren, just yet but I won it from a giveaway last week and have been meaning to read it. The second book was on NG and I thought I'd get it. This series looks like it could be really intense and also really good.

I managed to see two somewhat ridiculous summer movies last weekend - Premium Rush and The Expendables 2. Both were quite entertaining for what they were. The next movie I am looking forward to is Looper. Gotta love JGL and Bruce Willis in one movie. Does anyone else have plans for Labor Day weekend?
