Hi, kids! Hope you are all enjoying this Super Bowl Sunday. This has been another rough week for me and I am really feeling it. I hate being in this constate state of stressed out. If anyone knows a cure for it, let me know. :) But on to the books. All of my books this week are YA books. Still keeping the acquisitions to a minimum as I am really trying hard to downsize.

The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay - I keep hearing amazing things about this book and I was super excited that I was approved on NetGalley this week.

Notes From Ghost Town by Kate Ellison - My friend K read this ARC recently and kindly lent it to me. I still haven't read Ellison's previous book, The Butterfly Clues, but this looks sufficiently creepy.

Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian - A fun library find. I have been meaning to read this one. Sadly I have been neglecting it. Let's see if I can get to it before my loan expires.

That's about it for me. Is anyone going to see Warm Bodies this weekend? I saw a couple of screenings of it and need a break before I see it again. But I liked it a lot and you can see a few of my (random) thoughts on it here. And is anyone watching the Super Bowl today? I am not a big sports person but I am for the Bay Area so I have to give informal allegiance to the Niners. I usually got to a big Super Bowl yarn sale every year but it's not happening this year, which makes me a bit sad.

Pic of my adorable niece who is now 7 months old. Time really flies. And I am going to see Hansel & Gretel tonight. Woot! Should be awesomely bad. Happy Sunday!

  1. Hi cute baby! Eeeeee!

I saw Warm Bodies. I thought it was slow in places, but overall I loved it! Rob Corddry has the best lines. Loved the chemistry between Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer (who can act, thank goodness!) I liked the music, too. John Malkovich pulled off the concerned dad/angry widower/tough leader role minus the cheese. I like him a lot. Let's go again, T.

    2. Pretty sure it's not YA, though! Not that that matters a lot to me; I read both YA and adult books...

  3. Your niece is so cute! Hope she's not too disappointed about the game!

I saw Warm Bodies again today, with my sis. We both loved it. Going to check out your review!

Yay for Sea of Tranquility. Can't wait to hear what you think of it. I renewed Burn for Burn twice and never got to read it, sigh.

OMG you are brave to see Hansel and Gretel. Please review it :)
