Looks like there is a new TV spot out for Les Miserables. This one is touting it as "the motion picture event of the holiday season." That sounds pretty intense. :) This spot has a lot more narration than the film trailer that you've probably seen. This one is much more commercial and not quite as epic. The theatrical trailer features mostly Anne Hathaway's version of "I Dreamed A Dream." Even though I think Anne Hathaway is kind of annoying, I can't helped but be moved by that song. I am not totally sold on this movie just yet but I'll still see it. It looks quite beautiful and has a great cast.
Anyone else excited for Les Miserables?
It's funny you should mention not being sold on this movie. My sister and I were discussing the same thing when we saw the trailer before BD2. And totally agree with you about Anne Hathaway. The film does look gorgeous though, so we'll see...
ReplyDeleteit's like i really like the idea of it but the reality of it is looking just so so. but we'll see. i love going to the movies and i doubt i'll be able to stay away from this one, if only to see what all the fuss is about.
