NetGalley Knockdown Round-up

Hello, friends! August marks the end of my NetGalley Knockdown challenge hosted by Pretty Deadly Reviews.  I met my goal for this challenge, though I ended up reading different books than the ones I originally intended.  But that's OK. I read 4 NG books last month, which I am very happy about. I finished the following:

About Last Night by Ruthie Knox - review here
Thief of Shadows by Elizabeth Hoyt
Bared To You by Sylvia Day - review here
Hidden Paradise by Janet Mullany

I still need to review a couple of them. It's only a tiny dent in my NG queue, but it's still something. Thanks to Bekka for hosting the challenge. Hopefully this will be the start of a NG reading streak. So many good books to read and so little time!

The Knockdown Begins

The NetGalley Knockdown has officially begun! I am off to a really good start already since I just finished (and wrote a review!) for About Last Night today. I don't know how long this streak is going to last but I am just going to go with it for now. I am keeping my goals pretty modest so that I actually might meet them. Below are the NG books I am hoping to read this month.

Dark Kiss by Michelle Rowen
About Last Night by Ruthie Knox (read!)
Velveteen by Daniel Marks
This Is Not A Test by Courtney Summers

That's my goal and I am sticking to it. Does anyone else have any reading goals this month?

NetGalley Knockdown

Even though I have a great fear of commitment, I have decided to join the NetGalley Knockdown hosted by Bekka at Pretty Deadly Reviews. I need to read some of my NetGalley books and assuage the NetGalley Guilt (as my friends and I call it). I have so many awesome books from NG on my reader right now and I think this will help me prioritize them. I am not sure which books I am going to read just yet but I think I will aim for reading 4 NG books in July, which is a very modest and achievable goal.

If you have The Guilt as well and would like to join up, please visit Bekka's original blog post here. :)
